So you’re probably thinking… I’m disclosing a lot of personal information to jaygle and I don’t know how I feel about that!

We understand. And your concerns are legitimate. Tons of sites out there jump at the chance to take your personal life and sell it to the world just to make a little profit. (Dirty scoundrels.) We have a little bit different philosophy. When deciding how to properly handle your privacy and security, we have done our best to view it from your perspective. We strive for honesty and integrity in all we do and that includes ensuring proper security of your private information. And, to be honest, we’ve been in the same place you are and we don’t want to be taken advantage of either.

First things first, Why do we even ask for all that information about you?
The companies which advertise on jaygle benefit from knowing certain demographic information about people who give their feedback and opinions about their company. For example, they are able to see how people in particular age group answer the questions they make available. This ultimately helps them to better serve you,
their customer.

But isn’t that a bit invasive?
Actually it isn’t. We only give companies your demographic information; this information is deliberately separated from your actual identity. What do we mean by this? We do ask for your name, zip code(s) and email address, but that is so we know you’re a real person and so we can send you gift cards when you redeem your points. This information, however, is not given to anyone else unless you specify otherwise. We give to companies all the other information you provide except for that. But, since the demographic information we do give out is not accompanied with your name, zip code(s) or email address, they process this information only as being paired with some arbitrary person.

Will companies be contacting me by phone, mail or email?
No. We will not give out this information unless you specify otherwise. Notice that we don’t even ask for your phone number or mailing address. We don’t need ‘em so we don’t ask for ‘em. We do ask for your zip code so that we may know your general vicinity; this way we can provide more pertinent bundles to you for completion. And we ask for your email address so that we can send you your gift card codes once you earn them. But rest assured, we will keep your inbox from being spammed.
